Joanna is a 2014 graduate of Western Kentucky University, where she was the spring 2014 editor of the College Heights Herald. She is also the former new media associate for Teaching Tolerance. Williams is currently an Emerson Congressional Hunger Fellow in Washington, D.C.

Cory is an author and journalist and a former senior writer for Learning for Justice. He has experience in both the newsroom—as a former sports journalist—and the classroom, where he has provided reading intervention and tutoring for K–6 students from rural Kentucky to Charlotte, North Carolina.

Kim has been at the Woodstown School District in many capacities for the last 11 years. Kim started as a high school mathematics teacher and then worked as an elementary school counselor before taking her current position as the school counselor for Woodstown Middle School.
