Teaching Tolerance is thrilled to be in Baltimore this week for the National Council for the Teachers of English annual conference. We love meeting educators in person, so we hope you’ll stop by and see us. We’ll have plenty of free TT materials and goodies for you to take back to students and colleagues. We’re here Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Booth 1020.
We’re particularly excited to tell you about our new resource, Reading Together: A Guide for Families and Educators, and a special giveaway we’re hosting for NCTE attendees. Reading Together is designed to support a group of caretakers: parents, guardians, teachers, librarians and others as they plan an intergenerational social justice reading group tailored to their community.
To write the guide, we consulted with educators across the country. We’ve brought some of the books they used in their reading groups with us to NCTE and are giving them away to educators. Stop by Booth 1020 on Friday and Saturday and enter to win, and keep an eye on our Twitter and Instagram where we’ll announce the winners each day.
Below, you’ll find information about other free resources you can pick up at our booth. We look forward to meeting you!
