Toolkit for "Book Smarts"

Educators can use classroom publishing to validate the experiences of all students and to introduce critical literacy. This toolkit provides writing prompts to help you bring out the best in your students’ writing.

Once you have decided a plan and a platform for publishing student writing, it’s important that students have meaningful purposes for writing. Effective framing can help promote authentic student voices. This toolkit for "Book Smarts" provides writing prompts inspired by the Teaching Tolerance Anti-bias Framework.
