Can you please help me find the actual text? This is a summary of the text and not a primary source.
Hi jadams! This is a nonfiction text appropriate for upper elementary and middle school students. It's drawn from the 1862 autobiography, The Experience of Thomas H. Jones, who was a Slave for Forty-Three Years. The primary text is nearly 50 pages and would probably be difficult for younger students. You can find it here: https://docsouth.unc.edu/fpn/jones/menu.html
