Kevin Baxter has been teaching for almost forty years. Though an Early Childhood specialist, Kevin has taught or coached students at every grade level from pre-school through high school, as well as Gifted Education. He currently works in Asheville N.C., substitute teaching, writing, and volunteer teaching for the Buncombe County Literacy Council.

Margaret joined Teaching Tolerance as an intern and later became the Teaching Tolerance fellow. Sasser's work was integral to the development and maintenance of Perspectives for a Diverse America in her role as a research associate.

Cynthia Levinson writes nonfiction for young readers. Her debut middle-grade book, We’ve Got a Job: The 1963 Birmingham Children’s March, won numerous awards, including the Jane Addams Book Award and the IRA Young Adult Nonfiction Award. Her forthcoming book Watch Out for Flying Kids addresses multicultural issues in Israel and the United States through two children’s circuses. In addition, she is writing a biography of Hillary Rodham Clinton. Her short nonfiction pieces have been published in Cobblestone, Faces, and other magazines. She lives in Austin and Boston.

Robert (Bob) Kim is a leading expert in education law and policy in the United States. A former civil rights attorney, Bob is the co-author of Education and the Law, 5thed. and Legal Issues in Education: Rights and Responsibilities in U.S. Public Schools Today (West Academic Publishing, 2019 & 2017). He also wrote Let’s Get Real: Lessons and Activities to Address Name-calling & Bullying (Groundspark, 2004) and has advised thousands of educators on civil rights and school climate issues in public schools.
