Learning for Justice depends on the feedback and support of an important group of teachers, school counselors and psychologists, librarians, school- and district-level administrators and education professors: the Learning for Justice Advisory Board. These educators and leaders volunteer their time to review our resources, try our curriculum and act as ambassadors for our work. Gender Spectrum provides education, training and support to help create a gender sensitive and inclusive environment for all children and teens. We provide consultation, training and events designed to help families, educators, professionals and organizations understand and address the concepts of gender identity and expression. Our accessible, practical approach is based on research and experience, enabling our clients to gain a deeper understanding of gender all along the spectrum. Since 2011, Jill Davidson has worked as the Director of Publications and Communications at Educators for Social Responsibility, which collaborates with middle and high schools to provide professional development and resources grounded in the values of equity, community, and democracy. Before ESR, she worked for over a decade in a variety of roles at the Coalition of Essential Schools. Jill lives in Providence, RI. As the mother of three sons in public schools, she advocates for family-school involvement to support school success for all young people.
