Susan, an enrolled member of the Coharie Tribe of North Carolina, is a professor in the Educational Leadership Department at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Faircloth’s research interests include: Indigenous education, the education of culturally and linguistically diverse students with special educational needs, and the moral and ethical dimensions of school leadership.

Coloroso is an educator and the author of several books, including The Bully, the Bullied and the Bystander—From Preschool to High School, How Parents and Teachers Can Help Break the Cycle of Violence.

Anna is the assistant director and chief of staff at St. Norbert College’s Cassandra Voss Center (CVC), which focuses on transformation through initiatives related to race, class, gender and identity. Czarnik-Neimeyer grew up living and working at camps for 22 years before becoming the national events coordinator at Holden Village, an ecumenical learning and retreat center in the Cascade Mountains. An Atlanta native, Andrew Aydin currently serves in Representative John Lewis’ Washington D.C. office handling telecommunications and technology policy, as well as new media. Previously, he served as communications director and press secretary during Lewis’ 2008 and 2010 re-election campaigns, as district aide to Representative John Larson, and as special assistant to Connecticut Lt. Governor Kevin Sullivan. Aydin is a graduate of The Lovett School in Atlanta, Trinity College in Hartford and Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He is the co-author of John Lewis’ graphic novel, March.

Sean is a content strategist and editor in Texas; he is also a former managing editor for Teaching Tolerance. He has written more than 40 non-fiction books, most of them aimed at young adults and teachers. Price served as managing editor at Junior Scholastic magazine, where he collaborated with NBC News on the production of classroom videos.

While attending school full-time, Jessica teaches undergraduate classes and facilitates pre-service teachers' field-experience work in local public schools. She frequently presents at conferences and is conducting an ongoing research project with a high school social studies teacher. Kobe is also a teacher consultant for the Red Clay Writing Project (a local branch of the National Writing Project).
