LGBTQ history is American history, and all of our students deserve to know that. This October, we hope you’ll join us in celebrating LGBTQ History Month. Teaching Tolerance’s new streaming classroom film, Bibi, is a story about the intersection of family, identity and belonging. As TT Senior Writer Cory Collins writes, Bibi explores “the beauty and conflict that can arise as we move between languages, places and societal expectations.” Help students explore their identities with this moving film and accompanying lessons for grades 6-12.
We're saddened by the news of yet another classroom lesson on slavery involving a troubling simulation—but we're not surprised.
