Josh Moon is an award winning columnist and investigative reporter working in Montgomery. A graduate of Auburn University-Montgomery, Josh has spent the last 15 years covering wide variety of news -- from sports to education to state government -- around the state of Alabama. Leslie has been an elementary educator in central Virginia since 2008. As both a fourth-grade teacher and diversity resource teacher, she collaboratively designs and co-facilitates a variety of professional developments on multicultural education and culturally responsive instructional strategies. Wills-Taylor also organizes diversity awareness events that build sustainable home-school partnerships. She is one of the recipients of the 2016 Teaching Tolerance Award for Excellence in Teaching. Pam Watts writes, teaches and blogs about childhood adversity and children’s books. She is an expert in graphic novels, and first became interested in them when she studied them in the Writing for Children & Young Adults program at Vermont College of Fine Arts. Since then, she has spoken about graphic novels to audiences of other writers and teachers, and she can often be found in dark corners scribbling her own. She lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Growing up with a racially conscious mother, Katherine Watkins has been educated on Native American and African American literature and continues to enrich her knowledge as an avid reader. With African-American, Cherokee, Apache, Choctaw, Comanche and Irish ancestry, she is extremely interested in improving race relations, as can be seen in her classroom and activism work. Watkins is a veteran teacher of 20 years and is working on her second memoir and a novella.

Kevin Cordi is a professional storyteller, assistant professor at Ohio University Lancaster, author, and past advisor for Secret Kindness Agents and “The Wonder Team,” based on the book Wonder. He serves on the Teaching Tolerance Advisory Board. He is the author of You Don’t Know Jack: Storyteller Goes to School (March 2019) and Playing With Stories: Story Crafting for Writers, Teachers, and other Imaginative Thinkers (2014).
