Essential Question
  • “What's in a name? that which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet.”― William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet
  • According to Shakespeare's main characters, a name is only letters that make up a word. However, given the history of the United States as well as current events, it's easy to recognize that there is EVERYTHING in a name. Name some examples of what makes a name important. More importantly, before reading the article please write down what comes to your mind when you hear the name "General Robert E. Lee?"
