She currently works for the Community Center for Education Results, supporting the Road Map Project, a collective impact initiative for education equity. She holds a bachelor's degree in English/creative writing and a master’s degree in cultural studies, both from the University of Washington. Julie’s work centers the liberation of communities of color and immigrant communities.
