Jackie Brown

Jackie Brown has worked in high poverty elementary schools in the United States and abroad for twenty-eight years. Her career has taken her to Northern Ireland, Northern India and both Tribal and Public Schools in Washington State. She is dedicated to increasing awareness among educators, administrators and lawmakers about the effects of childhood trauma on brain development and on a student's ability to learn. Dr. Rachael Mahmood

Dr. Rachael Mahmood is a fifth grade teacher in a large school district outside of Chicago. In addition to teaching, she works as an equity ambassador designing and delivering equity workshops throughout her school district as well as in surrounding schools. Dr. Mahmood shares ideas, lessons, and frameworks for culturally responsive teaching with other educators on her YouTube channel and on Twitter. Liz Kleinrock (she/her) is an anti-bias and anti-racist educator of both children and adults, and creates curriculum for K-12 students, specializing in designing inquiry-based units of study. In addition to her work as a classroom teacher, Liz works with schools and companies to facilitate learning for adults that supports anti-bias and anti-racist practices. In 2018, she received the Teaching Tolerance Award for Excellence in Teaching, and in 2019 delivered her TED Talk, “ How to Teach Kids to Talk About Taboo Topics.” In the spring of 2021, Liz released her first book, Start Here, Start Now
